Hello guys,it's been discused again,I know,I made a research, but I saw many options and confused,What else can I use except the OEM,I was thinking a colder level than the stock which is said to be the best option for hot climates.

Once in the past I used BOSCH F5DP0R.But I really don't remember what was the result, and if were correct for the car.Any thoughts are welcome.

thanks Kimonas.

i use BKR7E pretty much spring - fall. Although i done drive much during the winter in the volvo ive put in the BKR6E from roughly octember ish - march. Colder weather & stuff i dont want to foul out the plugs as fast because i dont DRIVE drive the car the same in octember as i do in summer. Plus the closer it gets to snow it usually just naps in a garage, idles a few minutes, maybe a quick trip around the block then back to sleep.

wait i just READ READ the post! you used the F5DPOR plugs?! the side fires? what were your opinions on them Bosch wise those are a colder plug. as their numbers go down they get colder NGK & another brands go up but i forgot off hand. I read up on them a while back on Audi S2 forums & was kinda curious as everyone treated them like gold. Amazingly pricey though. They are available for us but after a long winded (and t0938908420398th spark plug post) i decided to make a comment although no reply ever came about. any news on them?

haha well i understand the need for so many spark plug threads but maybe because although anyone can say what works & doesnt they want feedback as to results, quality, mpg, power, blow out ETC.

B-mac idk if you were being sarcastic or not but ive been tryin to dig up information on them forever & i have great information. Just nothing in the world of volvos,

ex:

with a side firing plug it shoots electricty out at the pintle which goes DOWN rather than sparking down & being blocked fromt he center of the cylinder like a typical plug. Word on the Strasse is that it shoots the spark to the dead center of the cylinder, less room for error in regards to blow out (indexing issue), plus a cleaner burn. if this is true fantastical because ive almost ordered the F5DPOR every time ive changed my plugs I just havent been willing to guinie piggy it yet (also because my cars not badass like LOOKFORJOE or anyone else thats SERIOUS) so maybe just maybe Im on to something. & I was on that something about 9 months ago & was flamed for makin a plug thread :P granted this was before i popped out my cacoon & people didnt know me as the "integligent, spelling retarded, WTF did he say even though hes sorta right" kinda guy haha (Jack Kerouac - as BurnE put it)
