Rex
Hi All, Have the chance of a rear pair of 2006 S60R rear four pots to finish off my brake upgrades. Has anyone fitted these to a 1998 V70R AWD? Do they bolt straight on or are brackets required? They're fitted in an identical position, i.e they're to the front of the car (or the right) when looking at the rear wheel as on mine.... Chilled man
you would be better off with the porsche calipers then the S60R will be easier to fit

Bummer. Are people using that setup using brake bias adjusters?

Are people using that setup using brake bias adjusters? I have the Porsche brakes on front, S60R on the rear. No bias adjustment needed.
Emiel
Heh, I had a set for the front but decided to go with the AP's and subsequently listed the Porsche calipers on eBay. Bummer. Are people using that setup using brake bias adjusters? I had the Porsche set at the front and S60R Brembo's at the rear and needed a brake bias adjuster, but then I sold the 850.. The rear locked up pretty easy on my car.

Rex
Hi all, Just a quickie - the S60R discs are now on the shelf I just need the calipers! Some Porsche fronts have come up but off a 997, not a 996. Can anyone tell me if that's going to pose a problem? Regards, R
Che'_Moderator
I think the newer 2s and 4s brakes will work. The older ones will not.
