I have an 816 with the 6 disk trunk changer and I want to have an in dash CD player. I rarely use the CD player any more, but I'd like to have it for those rare moments when I need to listen to one. One other question- the changer had problems reading computer burned CDs, even with the better brand CDRs. Does the in the radio CD player read any better? I do a lot of one offs for production work. bobbyblue Posted October 18, 2010 Author Report Share Posted October 18, 2010 oops, my bad - I got 8 speakers. Dumb - pre coffee error. Does the radio's amp push the tweeters in parallel? I'm assuming that, since the tweets have a cap. it does. I am thinking about relocating the back door speaker, or replacing the rear tweets with a column of 2 1/2" speakers at the same impedance load.
