andyb5 Posted October 14, 2010 Report Share Posted October 14, 2010 I'd paint it to show people how it looked but I don't have any, the only problem I see is how it would look with the yellow reflector. And if you remove the reflector the part of the lens that covers that area is clear and would look a little silly. Maybe blackout the housing and give the reflector a quick coat or two of VHT?? I smell a project for a set of corners that I'll probably never use. Take the opened corner, spray the whole thing gloss black then hit the internal reflector (around the bulb) with some Spaz Stix chrome paint and you're all set Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I went to my local Hobby shop and asked for lens paint. got 1 of amber and 1 of clear...total cost.....$8. then connected the air compressor and hooked up the air brush and got to spraying. both were painted and put back on in about 30 min. Best part is I didnt have to deal with the reflector inside the signal light or worries about sticking them back together. I just painted the outside and want on my way.
