you are going by the book, i am going by what i have seen with my bare eyes from motors i have torn down, the rods out of my 01 are NOT the same as the rods out of a 97 motor, along with many other things vadis says i have found to be untrue.

Interesting. What was the change? Were they the same length with different geometry on the center part of the rod? Did the gudgeon pin diameter change?

BTW, is my head still on target for getting here by dec? :)

like it matters to me, im more anti-tt than any single person on this forum

Why the anti-TT sentiment? Just curious....

I gave TT the specs on IPD's HD coilpacks. They are making sure the system will support those as well as stock OEM packs, so, I'd expect any packs with the values to work.

ill make sure you have the head, dont worry ;) think i might just go grab it from the guy building my manifold and give him a scrap head i have so i can get it out to you.

im sure it will use any of the new style coilpacks which is good, just not the older 960 style i use but why use those old pos coilpacks when the ipd hd ones are available ;)

ive only scanned over TT once and didnt get a very good first impression, and it just seems like it retains too much of the stock managment and should be more adjustable. I know it has the potential to be right side by side with a good standalone ems but its just being too focused on being user friendly. If it offered more options to people that dont mind getting their hands dirty i think it would be a great system, going MAP based would be a good idea but im not sure how feasible that would be using the motoronic. I think it is a good system bc of how easy it is to install and use but it seems to definetly have some big limiting factors that need to be addressed, Hussein i am sure you are very aware of some of them.

But just to be clear, i am in no way saying megasquirt is better, infact at this point in time i would say TT is better than my MS setup for one reason....full sequential injection.
