3cRider Posted November 2, 2010 Report Share Posted November 2, 2010 Now onto my third set of upper strut bearings on my 2000 S40 I'm looking into upgrading my Phase 1 front suspension to a Phase 2 (01-early 04) suspension pieces. Has anyone done this or seen it done? Comparing part numbers shows I'll need 2001+ Front strut bearings spring seats springs struts swaybar endlinks If anyone has done this upgrade it would be a lot of help. I understand the 2001+ front suspension design is MUCH better than the 2000 model's and this would prevent me from having to replace the clunky upper strut bearings every 20-30K miles. Thanks!
