f1fanoly
I recently completed a motor swap on my '97 850glt and replaced the lpt motor with a complete low mileage '98t5 motor.Everythings fine regarding the swap, runs perfect.Petty much did everything when apart, cam seals, rear main,t/belt water pump, pulleys, tensioner, plugs, cap, rotor, wires, fuel filter, pcv, vac hoses etc. Before doing this i had the same codes,p0410=I know my air pump is bad,no big deal as I intend on eliminating SAS once someone figures out how to do it.Whats puzzling me is that it always comes with a p0455=gross evap leak.I know it's not related to the swap because they were there before, and I replaced/inspected all evap related vac hoses/sources when doing the swap. The SAS is all hooked up ,the pump is bad due to water.Whats the correlation?I dont think its coincidence because they're always there together when the check engine light comes on after resetting. f1fanoly
There are a couple of evap hoses back by the gas tank, did you look at those? No I havent,I'm wondering why I only get the two codes together and never seperately.Could be that the system does evap test and SAS test at the same time and there is no common issue? I have an air pump for sale if you want it. How much?

f1fanoly
$55.00 shipped. BTW which ECU did you choose? I'm just running the stock GLT LPT 4.4 ecu right now, trying to figure out what to do for that.Ken at IPD says theres really nothing they can do for me other than have me pay $300 per hour to have a custom program written for my ecu.I asked if they coukd install '98 T5 program to my ecu, seens pretty straight forward to me but NO,way out of the box for them and Lucky's on vacation.Any suggestions?I think I want to buy your air pump.
