Guest 98_T5_Jack
I've had my 1998 S70 T5 for a while now. I picked up a cd changer today. Actually, i got two. The 70 series changer i picked up didn't have a cassette in it, but i found an 850 changer that i rebuilt. It works, I tested it with the ~6inches of wire that the factory gives you off of the harness. The only problem I'm having is where to mount it. Is there a factory position? The changer has brackets on it. I pulled the x70 changer out of an 854's trunk, and it was mounted to the "roof" of the rear deck. Was this an OEM position? Is there any OEM position in my car? Thanks in advance, Jack
Zappo
Yes, that is the OEM mounting position. You will need the data cable that runs up to the head unit also.
