Big Will
Sweetness! Do you guys sell just the front sway bar for an AWD V70? I'd be all over this if you do! Should be the same front sway bar for an AWD as a FWD - rear bar is the one that's different.

krn
I recently installed a pair on my 98 (front and rear) and used the front setting. I'm very happy with the upgrade and improved handling. It's pretty easy to swap between the two holes, too.

Dan A
Lucky - I've heard people on this board state that a stiffer front sway bar promotes more understeer. True or no?

TorqueSteer
Yes, a stiffer sway bar will cause an increase in understeer and more body roll. Thus, decreasing the the stiffness of sway-bar will cause an increase in oversteer and less body roll. A similar effect can also be achieved by lengthening or shortening the endlinks. Note that the rear swaybar setup will also a play a role in the overall feel of the car.
macman33
I have the same question, can the single hole bars be modified ?

Note that the rear swaybar setup will also a play a role in the overall feel of the car. If you're talking about the front sway, that's backwards: Stiffer = less roll, potentially more understeer. Softer = more roll, potentially more oversteer. I say potentially because it's all relative :P
HPsyndicate
I drilled an extra hole in my front ipd bars as there's enough room to do it and lucky said it would be effectively the same. He was also clear id be violating my warranty by drilling it out I painted the ends so the likelyhood for corrosion would be reduced so I figure I'm good but if I screwed it up somehow I realize I'm on my own...
