Stormtrooper1
Wife called me this morning, was in a car accident, on her way home from work in our Commuter car a 2008 Toyota Matrix. She's Ok, a bit banged up from the airbag and seat belts, she did go to the hospital though, and is going to be sore for a few days, but will be ok. Her description - "20 year old in a van paseed in the lane to my left side, lost control in front of me, leading me trying to avoid her and down a 15-20 foot sloping ditch into a retaining wall. OUCH! I am okay but extremely sore. SEATBELTS save lives, it did mine!" This is a stock photo of a 08 Matrix XR And this our matrix on the day we got it. (no front photo on hand hence the stock photo) And this is the result of today's accident.

Stormtrooper1
Thank you for all the concern. I'm very glad she is Ok as well, it was not a happy phonecall that woke me up this morning. I knew something was wrong right away, but it wasn't like when she got rear-ended and just the rear bumper was scuffed up and he was more pissed than anything. holy shit, glad she's ok mike. did the van stop? who's at fault here? wow. again, glad she's ok. Yes, the Van did stop, information was gotten. Police were there. She went to the hospital and got the full Xrays and everything. She's off work for a few days. She got a friction burn on her jacket from the airbag going off. A few scuffs on her hands, a scrape on the collarbone from the seatbelt, and she's getting some big bruises showing up now. I'm not sure how the fault thing will work out. I'm just glad we have full coverage. (and that we literally *just* added GAP when we re-fi'd it on Monday. we are a bit upside down on that car seeing as we put almost 40,000 on it in one year! glad she's ok that is not a very happy face lol Ha! No, not happy at all. That will buff out And will put my pennies on being totaled That buffings gonna take a lot of Wax. I also would not want to deal with the post crash electrical gremlins as the radio and everything are staying on even with the key out and the car locked.... Glad she's ok. Time to buy another Volvo I already pitched the C70 Vert. I was promptly shot down. It'll be her work car and our big mileage vehicle, so I'm sure it'll be something that gets 30+mpg again. Ouch. car looked nice before the accident. But seriously, glad shes ok. Thanks- That Matrix was a great car. Glad I didn't just replace the O2 Sensor that is out though!
