Malvasi Posted December 6, 2010 Report Share Posted December 6, 2010 Hey guys, I have tried searching for other topics that have been started on the same topic and either I am not using the right search words or I am special but I couldn't find any I am looking at a yellow T5-R tomorrow/Wednesday and what are the major things I should/can look for? I won't have a hoist so I will only have limited view under the car. Thanks for any help guys, I know this has been covered before but like I said I couldn't find it. I've seen some really beat R's before.... I have seen some well worn high mileage cars too but the pictures of this one seem decent and depending on how the car looks in person, that will be the main tell for me. With that said, I have looked at a few lower mileage cars that were complete turds so it all depends on usage and maintenance. When you say turbo, are you speaking of shaft movement or what? I am not sure what else there will be look at other than making sure there is no leaks at the oil lines and intercooler lines... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
