beewerks Posted December 8, 2010 Report Share Posted December 8, 2010 Okay, so one of the guys at work has an '06 Subaru Outback XT that is stock. It supposedly puts out 250 hp. What are the chances of my '98 V70 AWD with 16t, R ECU, whites, and a basic stage 0 have against it? I'm planning on installing a full 3" exhaust one of these days but it might not be on by the time we go at it. He is always making fun of my car so I thought it might be an interesting test. I like this idea, but it's your car. Maybe also show up with the rear drive shaft disconnected Either way, if your car is running well I think you'll be neck and neck. I've been getting held up because the 16t turbo I said I had is probably no good (needs a major rebuild). So now I'm waiting for another 16t to arrive. He just has the right gearing, after 100 they fall on their face. Just like the WRX, not so much the STi's. If anything go from a roll, it's your best bet. If he's like a lot of other subie drivers he'll want to go from a dig, get up to 100km/h and then back off while he's still ahead and say he killed you.
