Definitely was a great time even for the little that I was there for. Food was great, so hats off to Mamma Gilbertson for that. It seemed that the cam sprockets somehow moved and everything was out of alignment. But Rich is the man and fixed it (with timing belt change) in 1 hour and 15 minutes. Then my car died again so Lee had to give me a jump. MANY THANKS TO MR. GABRIEL, for letting us stay, to his parents for not kicking us out, to Tommy for all those sweets and to everybody else who showed up. It was nice to see all of You again. And I hope to see you soon. Post pics everybody. I don't have anything decent... YES!! RICH IS THE MAN!!! The crank was off like 6 teeth, so we had everything wacked last night. He buzzed that main crank bolt off in a minute, amazing watching him work and making it look so easy. With that Gates kevlar timing belt the car definitely feels at least 5mph faster. Now if I can figure out the reason for the misfires. Hmmm...is it plug gap? Wrong octane fuel? Boosting too much for the colder weather? Car just needs to go back in garage and not be driven until spring. And "yes" Gabe your mom is the bomb!! She is an exceptional cook, and thank the parents again for the hospitality!! Thanks a bunch guys! Great meet, definitely need to do something like it again and soon! Thanks to all who helped with the PCV on my piece of shit... car runs better and im sure anyone who has been behind me ever will appreciate it! Only problem is now my TPS is all effed I think... not sure. Got a thread going that Rob (Dr. Octagonapus) has the EXACT same problem so we're trying to figure this out. I didn't take any pictures... I brought my camera... and didn't take one picture. Again? When was the first time? Thanks for all of the kind words, I'll pass them on to my mom. I'm glad everyone had fun, we'll definitely have to do something like it again soon. Maybe at one of the Chicago households this time.
