Sorry about your loss. Please contact me about my order.

If it has not gone out, I would like my refund issued ASAP. I've been trying to get in contact with someone for weeks to no avail. If you don't care to contact me, I'll call my bank tomorrow at 12 PM PDST. (hate to do that)

Why is everyone -1 him? I dont see anything wrong with what he asked. They said they shipped out a bunch of stuff. all he said was that if his stuff was not already shipped to please refund his money....He's tried to contact them for weeks and has gotten no answer. We understand they had a FIRE and all, but they also had customer orders waiting around, and had no contact for 2 weeks with any of them. The site has been up and running with no notice of the fire posted or any type of delay warning...so they continued to take orders and MONEY but not ship out parts. having my own computer repair company if I have ANY kind of issue that is going to delay the process I contact ALL my customers and let them know ASAP.

The fact is He tried to contact them because of a delay. They were without power or whatever the deal is, but the site is still up and running and taking orders. To me this looks VERY poorly that the company is completely disabled yet continues to take orders they know they will not be able to fulfill any time soon with no notice to consumers.. If it was your order that was backed up for a month and you had no contact from them for 2 weeks................You wold be pissed also.

I do agree he came off as a jerk. but he also has every right to be a jerk he paid for an item that has never been shipped. and the seller "dropped of the face of the earth" for 2 weeks because of a fire (granted the fire is a legit reason) but your still taking peoples money....a simple email would have solved this issue. Or even post a notice on the web site.

agreed, my wife runs an internet site and makes changes almost evey weekend from HOME, not from the office!!!She also has her site set up that if an item gets depleted in there inventory that item is automatically removed from the site until stock is replenished, she then goes in and resets said item with a new invetory count.

I ordered on the 7th of Nov. and have yet to recieve a email, tracking # or PM. I've left 2 emails and 1 PM on here so far with no response. Time for customer service to step up to the task at hand IMHO.

Should we be emailing you to get an idea when we will get our orders ?

They had a fire I give them benifit of the doubt that the order might of gotten lost or such.

no one is fighting the fact they had a fire. The issue at hand is that they had a fire and didn't tell anyone till almost 3 weeks later...

Its easy to edit a web site from home. Its apparent that the server for the site is not in the bldg. the fire was, because they claim to have had no power and this would have caused the site to go down. That means no one bothered to think...."hey maybe we should let people know whats up. lets PUT a big flag on the site that says we had a fire." instead they went and left the site running for several weeks collecting peoples money...and falling behind on shipping the items. Many companies have done this in the past, and never come back from the "fire" they just take the money and run. Stylinmotors seems to be a decent company in the fact that they are coming back.

I Just think people are being over sensitive about the fire. They are a company...not a person. meaning as a company someone needed to step up and say what about the people who's money we took....who will not get there items now. Instead they said....no one say anything until the power gets back on. Then we can make a quick post on VS, and be on our way... in the mean time they are all getting fat pockets sleeping in comfortable beds. NO PM's or emails got answered, no phone calls made...nothing. the site still hasn't been changed to reflect the delay in shipping.

They can be a bunch of great people, but lets face it, as a supervisor at my job and having my own at home company. There leadership/customer service just took a huge dump on everyone. And is continuing to do so. of all the people handing out -1's...........how many of you are waiting on parts from them? IF IPD of FCP fell off the face of the earth for 3 weeks, and had your money and no response would you be mad? All it would have taken was for 1 person from stylin to log on to VS and make the same post they just made...but 2 weeks ago. then no one would be upset. we would all know whats going on and be understanding. but they didn't they hid, and after 2 weeks popped up made a quick post, and have gone silent again. no responses for them. If that's how the company responds to an emergency then they clearly need to rework the structure and responsibilities of the upper management.

I haven't ordered anything from them, so I'm looking at this from a neutral side. Do I feel sorry they had a fire and hope everyone is ok....Absolutely. Would I be willing to wait some extra time because of this......SURE. IS having a fire a LEGIT excuse to not contact your customers.....ABSOLUTELY NOT. I could really care less if you guys -1 me to death. My opinion is my opinion.

I love how some of you seem to think they are the only source for this stuff, if you're so desperate for the parts go elsewhere and sort the financials out at a later date. If you can't have 2 orders for some hoses pending for monetary reasons then you probably have other issues :rolleyes:

I dont have that issue , granted I am filing a paypal claim and getting it someplace else.
