Stylinmotors Fire

I have read this thread from beginning to end. i was going to order some hoses for my XC90 since i had some free time over this christmas break. I was going to order up until Chilled Man filed a paypal claim. In this day and age, we CAN find internet access ANYWHERE. McDonalds have free wifi, Collage Campus, Starbucks, we can even drive around for someones unsecured linksys!! I do not believe no one from Styling can login here even as a guest and say WAAAASSSSSUUUUPPPP people.

I run a business and from my 800sq ft of show room space, i do over $1.2million annually. I can get online from my phone, i get emails sent to my phone for work. I do not believe that any one from Styling cant contact buyers thru here. A simple screen shot of the paypal payment should show that you paid. The only way i can see if there would be no contact is A: Criminal charges/arrest = incarceration B:death of all staff (not that i wish that on anyone).

Even a notice on the main page. What is this world coming to?

and this has been my point the entire time. NOTHING for them. NO phones, not Internet, NO nothing from a Company....really?

Google Maps doesn't update often, it's probably an old picture. But I'm surprised that they're operating out of their home, I thought they made the stuff too.

That or they started off in the house and never updated to when they started making there own prodcuts......

at least thats what I am hoping ... lol

Dude, I know I get a lot of heat on this site, but srsly? That's gotta be one of the most douchey posts I've seen in quite a while on this site. The guys just had their factory catch fire, do you srsly think they're going to ship YOUR order ASAP? If you call the bank, you sir, should get a life as you honestly have no heart. If it was your running Stylin', would you be shipping at 100% capacity and dealing with orders when you don't even have electricity in your place which was ON FIRE?!

Just my $0.02.

No... but I'd still contact people... especially someone that had repeated problems with my previous service levels and was waiting for a back ordered item that I FAILED to inform anyone of. Its just good business practice. Maybe I should link all my other threads so you can know the whole story... I have NEVER had a customer service issue like this and I buy many things online.

In my business dealings, when you have a "fire", literal or figurative, you need to place the customer first and at the VERY LEAST notify them somehow. Get on you iPhone or whatever you have in your pocket and slam out some emails. The fire might not be your fault, but dealing with the mess certainly is your responsibility.... the burden should never fall on the consumer.

If I really was a douche, I'd have called Visa and MasterCard and let them know that StylinMotors has been settling transactions before shipment, which is a huge credit card processing "no-no". But I don't see a point in malicious attacks. If they would have been following Card Association guidelines, my money would have simply been authorized and not taken out of my account for nearly a month.

Believe me, I did NOT want to go to my bank... I just wanted my money back (during the holiday season no less). Keeping a hold of my money since you had a fire is inexcusable. If they had issued a refund or even returned my call for that matter, things would have ended way more civilly and I wouldn't have all these silly minus -1's
