Thewhiteguy-what tune do you have?

What do you hold to redline? My next mod will be a fmic as I think that is what's causing my fade.

Thats awesome though. How's the engine tranny holding up?

speedtuning stg2 17psi...

i start fade ataround 54-5500 but i hold 20psi and fade to 15..

anything with a td04 turbo will have fade no matter what you do to decrease fade, although messing with the wastegate will help the fade a little, also exhaust, and exhaust housing..

tranny is good for now, kinda hoping it blows so i can get an m56 :P

Yeah I am going to tighten my wastegate as it comes on very early and spins the tires super easy. Awese high end though.

Good to know about the fade. I have mine at 18 and fading to 15 so very similar.

Your car says s70 t5. What mods do you have?

You can see mine in my sig

I must say the sconeman intake and japanifold helped a lot.

The in-cabin add on is amazing. Instant simple adjustments can be made. No electronic failure possibilities. The hallman pro rx with ceramic ball is super amazing. I prefer my hallman over my old aem ebc setup

I have never ran a hallman, but I've always been more than happy with my turboXS dual stage. And having extra boost at the flip of a switch is a nice feature. I don't think its hallman or bust, just more of a part where you get what you pay for. Spend $5 on eBay and it will work but no where near as good as one that cost quite a bit more because its been around the block a few times and has all the bugs/shortcomings worked out.

The in cabin adjustment is a good idea but I've heard that it can be a cause of spikes and other problems due to the added length of the vac routing. Not to mention it is a constant tease to keep turning it up until you grenade the motor. Personally I like the idea of having the boost set at a thought out level that requires more than a flick of the wrist to increase. Not to mention if you have a smart ass friend that decides to crank it up without you knowing. ;)

its actually a long metal cable connected to the end of the mbc lol so the mbc is in the engine bay still

That's not a bad idea, most of the in cabin adjustable MBC's I've seen before basically relocated the unit inside the car. The cable is a nice touch, still have to worry about assholes though. :P

Wagoneer. Yeah you were boosting a lot with your lpt too wernt you? How's your hx35 build going?

15psi at pretty much wherever I put my foot down in the rev range. Held it right to redline. Dawes MBC and wastegate at 3psi.

Not going HX35 anymore, just purchased something a little... more exciting for the build ;)

I hid mine in the ashtray  I mainly use it to lower boost in wet weather to help with wheel spin

i use a halman pro rx, with the heavier spring, it hold boost like its its job(well it is) and never fades, super precise, can dial it in w/in .5psi the only thing i dont like is actually how fast boost does build, idk exactly how early it comes on but i can tell you i rev it in park and theres boost that easy, maybe thats normal idk but id be surprised if im not at 10psi by like 3k range which is kinda scary. Im looking to actually slow it down once i get my head fixed....idk if this quick onset played a role in me busting a valve, idk what would cause it....13psi from a 40 roll...idfk ramble ramble dam lpts why do i love em

Just back your wastegate off a bit.
