Vw is going through what honda went through a few years ago (or at least around my area), once the fad is all over, I'll consider getting one. You'll miss the Volvo in almost every way/shape/form and this is coming from a guy who's first car was a mk2 1991 8v jetta. The only advantage is that there are a stuff ton of other idiots out there trying to fit in by modifying them, so the aftermarket support is undeniable.
