Dick Dastardly
240s are cool cars...they are a better choice than an A2 VW (trust me I've owned more than one of both). I had a 5spd 245 dropped 2 inches, looked bad-ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD and had 365,000 on it when I sold it..bought it with 175,000 and did very little other than pcv, oil changes and brake pads...There is something about 240s..i will always like em. Sometimes I wish I had bought another one instead of my S70 T5m..
Commander Riker
I vote 2 coils off the front... 2.5 coils off the rear. Great lowered ride... slightly stiffer and still not so low it's not usable. Just my .02. Just did this a month ago on a 245, and it worked out perfectly. bordvo
Cool Taylor on the 240 and disregard my comment on "WTFH" to the 850. Glad you stuck with Volvos.
Fin-Solo
Thanks for the replies, and yeah I kind of came to mind again after seeing this car in person, knew I had to have it. And I love this thing, So far I have realized its impossible to stall starting out, and it drives smoother than anything I have ever driven or ridden in. I still miss my 245, but your last sentence, er...NO However, the OP is going to need to +T that sucker if he wants it to actually move at more than an underwhelming rate
