jl2 Posted January 2, 2011 Report Share Posted January 2, 2011 OK, so I figured out how to take apart the console, and wired my radar detector, BT hands-free system, and GPS cable directly into the electrical system of my 2007 S80. However, I did not take the radio out because it looks like, as far as I can tell from Alldata, that this car's audio system is segmented. I don't see any way to reach whatever antenna cable there might be to hook up my existing (not built-in) Sirius head unit via direct-antenna connection pass-through (much better audio quality than using the broadcast feature). BTW, there is an OEM shark-fin antenna on the roof, a fuse in the fusebox spot for Sirius but no Volvo/Sirius unit built in to the car, although I have found the mounting location. Anyone know where to find the antenna cable, or is it behind the CD unit at the top of the console? Thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
