Ipd
I've built a basic R Brembo and Porsche Brembo measuring template but need to confirm something. If you've got the Porsche BBK from either CJ or Ipd would you please post up with what wheels you are using and what spacers (if any) you needed to clear the calipers. Also an estimation on how much clearance you now have at the closest point from the caliper to the wheel. Thanks, I send some stickers or vinyl to anyone who posts up with useful data. the ünderstüdy
No spacers with 18" pegs, the issue with the 17's is that the raised measurements on the back of the wheels scraped my brakes as if there was a rock stuck between it (which turned out being the raised numbers on the back). As far as clearance Clarence I'd say enough to fit 1-2mm between wheel and caliper. Other than that I recommend this kit, iPd sways with iPd springs and you've got a great car. No need for stickers, just putting more info out there.

lookforjoe
No clearance issues using Volvo 17" pegs & IPD-supplied BBK up front on my V70. I don't have them on the car now, but there was at least 2-3mm clearance for me. My 18" peg REPLICAs (eBay) require 5mm spacers to clear the front BBK. Neither rims needs a spacer for my rear AWD BBK
JoshV70
17x7.5" Comets require 16.5mm spacers which leaves <1mm of clearance between the spoke and caliper housing. 17x7" Comets require additional spacing. Hope this helps.
Oreo931
17x7 OZ Record ET42 - using a 10mm spacer, but could probably get away with less.
Zappo
Had the setup on my car for 4.5 years now, maybe longer. I ran Volans with 15mm spacers, but that gives you less than 1mm clearance. I believe I measured mine at .6mm with a feeler guage. Problem with that is you will get debris in there and it will start to damage the paint on the caliper. 16.5 mm spacers would solve the problem, but you have to roll the fenders on an 850. 18" SSW Trex, no spacers needed 5-6mm clearance. 35mm offset I believe. 17" Team Dynamics Pro Race 1, no spacers needed and probably around 2-3mm clearance. 35mm offset on these as well. matt b
928 GTS "blacks" calipers Team Racing Dynamics 1.2's (TDR) in 45 offset 15 mm spacers and I have exactly 2 mm between the inside of the spoke and the edge of the caliper. Let me know if you needs pics and I'll post some. Here are some of the other Porsche calipers I ran before the black ones, same wheels: Using 17x7" comets, can you use 20mm spacers? Clearance size? You could, but you'll chew up your fenders at every bump from your wheels being so far out.
PLM
928GTS Calipers - Current Rims - 17x7.5 Otrera - 5mm spacer, 1mm clearance. Same issue with debris expecially in winter.
matt b
I ran TDR's 1.0 in 40 offset and clearance was identical to George's set up (Zappo). Pic of clearance:
