Jaxx
yes. edit: we're talking about stuffing wheels into the compressor housing? not sure. but you can swap the exhaust housing and attach it.
Spanky
Is it possible to put a 19 T cartridge in a 16 T housing?

All the Volvo TD04HL cartridges are the same. A few interior pieces differ between the "G"s and the "T"s which will have to be switched out if you were taking the turbo to one or another. The 19T wheel will not fit in a 16T housing and its not a simple fix of increasing inlet bore to accommodate the larger inducer if your want to take it to "MIT" spec. lookforjoe
Is it possible to put a 19 T cartridge in a 16 T housing? Yes. The 19T CHRA & compressor housing will fit in the 16T exhaust housing. However, if the 16T exhaust housing is the old style, you will not reap the full benefit. You really need the angle flange exhaust housing as well.
blazen244
I'm looking to upgrade the turbo also but, which one do I do first the turbo or the ECU?
mdlimy
I'm looking to upgrade the turbo also but, which one do I do first the turbo or the ECU? save and do them both at the same time would be the smart thing to do...you will want supporting mods if you are planning on running a 19t...ie exhaust, injectors and a 4bar fpr etc...
