Im workin on my 2000 s40 and i just did a head job and was turning over the car a couple times and now it wont go to position 3 or START. What happened? Is it a safety feature? loseR99 Posted January 21, 2011 Report Share Posted January 21, 2011 Verify that you reconnected the IAC connector, and properly connected the coil leads and coils. Also make sure the the harness is properly grounded to the cam cover, there should be a ring terminal coming off of the harness that bolts to the cam cover between cylinder 1 & 2.
