The Big Tuna Posted February 11, 2011 Report Share Posted February 11, 2011 glad your okay man! but that really sucks. maybe the car gods are trying to tell you something about toyotas i am alive today because a toyota saved my life (and the seatbelt) With as many problems as toyota has had of late I would stay far away from them, the car Gods are trying to tell you something, j/k but in all honesty they dont call them tin cans for nothing, I owned toyotas before I got in volvos and their quality ship has since sailed a long time ago, its just a name now when they were a up and coming company the quality was great. first off the whole accelerating into a wall was completely blown out of proportion, and if you want to sit in a tin can go sit in a s40/v40 haha Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I would have to agree, but there was really no place to be on the other side of the wall and safe. There were lanes of traffic on both sides of the wall. The real important thing is that i was not standing outside and next to the car on either side. There really weren't any barriers at all were there? maybe the small metal ones, but where it seemed you were was just open grass/snow in between each direction of traffic and a ditch with trees on the outside. And about the getting the wife a Volvo... they have an S70 and the R so technically she does have a Volvo... or at least has one at her disposal!
