Malvasi
Hey guys, I am wondering what you guys did with your x-overs and if you left them in the door, how did you then get to the wiring for the tweeter since it runs through a molex plug? I am interested in keeping the x-over in the door and tweeter in the stock location. I did a search and couldn't find anything pertinent. Thanks guys! Tyler T5R
My crossovers are behind the head unit where the factory amp used to be and I very carefully wired them in to the factory speaker wires.

This is what I was thinking of doing with them too. I was thinking either that or putting each cross over by the tweeter and run the wires down. blazen244
My crossovers are in the door, I used double sided tape to keep them in place. I fished the wires through the rubber loom going from the door to the car. You have to remove the kick panels to get them to the radio but the job looks great. Tyler T5R
In case it's not clear, my tweeters are in the stock dash location. I didn't want to cut the factory harness, but had to after I gave up running new wire to the doors like I would normally do.

How did you get the wires through the molex plug? I know how to do it on other cars but the Volvo seemed to have no open spots for me to fish it through... Yeah I figured you left them there but if you think about it, as long as you leave more than enough space between the harness and the cut wires it is easy to put back together if the need arose. Sorry, misspoke I used the factory wiring my tweeters are door mounted cross over is in the space forward below the window, and double sided taped to the inner door skin.
