gottago
Once again I am seeking help with wife's 01 V70 XC, low coolant light came on and resevoir was a little low, filled, while later light came on again and was little low. After eyeballing usual suspects, rad, radhoses, head/block area, found coolant residue on left (drivers side) heater hose at firewall. So I need to replace both heater hoses, I've looked and having a hard time seeing where the hoses connect to the engine. How hard is this to do in my driveway and how long should I expect to spend doing this. Any help/feedback will be truly appreciated. FCP Euro
They connect to a hard metal line just next to the turbo. The lines are not hard to replace at all and if you do a search, I am sure there is a how-to somewhere.
Ihatespeedbumps
Remove the hard plastic fresh air hose that runs from the airbox to the turbo and you'll easily be able to access the heater hoses.
