Car Not Starting

I try to help one of my friends with his car : 1998 S70 T5 Auto.(165.xxx miles)

TRY TO BE SHORT.

Got the car in my garage with the flat bed, trans vent, oil allover, top pipe to radiator split in half.

The driver axle never came out so i pull the tranny out from the bottom leaving the engine in.

the new tranny was take for a donor car that was running with 87.xxx miles.

First the big donuts(empty) was sit perfectly on the tranny ( i know have to click twice to the end ) then we put all together, tread-block, new bolts, torq on spec, etc.

big time all is back on the car, I belive need 2 qt tranny oil.

I try to start the car today and noting !!!! The fuel pump is running, got pressure at the rail, starter is good for what I know, new PCV kit (clean well was really a mess and clogged), new sparks, new axle on driver side ( the old one was like melted-welded at the middle inside (have to break the tranny case to pull-it out).

Wen I try to start the car all the dash dies and more wen i press the brake pedal !! PNP swich is aligned i got the light on revers position.

Any ideas, suggestion will be great ( links etc) i keep searching around bay 13,

Thanks for the reply guys, I will change the cable tomorrow.

Today I start early the battle with this problem!!!

New starter, new battery, NEW COIL, dist +rotor =======> same problem!! WONT CRANK .

Double checked all the ground (to the tranny, top engine to firewall) connections they are all good. i have a spare battery cable for the donor car that is like new I'm gonna try that.

I change all possible item in order to avoid further problem, still no CRANK!

100% GOOD:

-CAM SENSOR OEM

-CRANKSHAFT SENSOR OEM

-BATTERY

-SPARKS (COPPER)

-PCV SYSTEM

-COIL OEM

-ROTOR + CAPS OEM

-COMPUTER OR ECU (THANKS BILLY) OEM

I need some help guys, got no idea what else to do for this car!

CHECK THE VOLTAGE AND AMP ON THE WIRING BY THE CRANK AND CAM SENSORS AND GOT VERY STRANGE SIGNALS/ OR NONE.

I AM PLANING TO CHANGE THE WIRE HARNESS FROM ECU TO THE ENGINE, BUT I NEED SOME ADVICE BEFORE I START ON THAT TASK......

OTHERWISE I WILL PART THE CAR WITH ALL THE NEWS ON IT, THANK ANY IDEA WILL HELP
