Got me another Volvo, this time a 240. Looking forward to getting this one in the driveway. My wife and I drove it this afternoon and the car felt really tight. Everything works and everything is there...just needs a nice wash and cleaning...a few hubcaps and a set of fresh tires.

Here she is:

It seems to need a ball joint or a sway bar bushing, but nothing stands out as being critical. Motor idles super smooth, all power accessories work, AC works, heat is KILLER.

I'll keep posting pictures.

Bout time! Now we gotta put it up on R3V to agitate them a little bit.

I gotta tell ya i am less and less active in that forum every year.....

Yeah... I can't imagine why? I find that the majority of the BMW crowd hates a lot. I try not to hate so much... life's too short.

yet another update from my RWD brick:

Oil was finally changed and the rear brakes were finally done: no more loud squealing when coming to a stop. Dropped the car off at the Volvo tech because time is short and the weather is getting colder: trans fluid replacement, rear shocks, and torque rod bushings, as well as shift linkage bushings: The car feel nice and tight! I guess i didn't realize how shot the rear shocks were.

Also got my Volvo 421 touch up paint yesterday along with a few paint pens. Curious to see how much nicer I can get it to look.

Pictures will come eventually. :D
