The torque converter was installed FIRST on the tranny slide in by two steps, when put together the engine and tranny fit perfect with no isue! Engine turn by hand and no strange noise at all !!! CAR WONT CRANK AT ALL, as the original OP . Sorry but try with all my knowledge plus yours help guys. Any suggestion ?? I wish i could have helped, but i am glad you got it figured. Plus now tat you have been through and replaced so many things you shouldn't have to fix anything for a while.
