Matts 850 GLT
Hi Having owned Volvo's for 20 years I thought I'd have ago at modding my turbo. What kind if power increase can I expect fitting a manual boost controller? Car is 94 turbo 150k miles. Matt
drin850
nothing wrong with adding 2-4 psi with a MBC. not sure exactly how much HP you'll gain, but you'll definetly feel a difference. make sure everything is up to par on the car itself (known as Stage 0). add a boost gauge if you dont already have one to monitor the increases in PSI. T5power
i went from stock boost to about 15 psi with no real problems. i made sure as much stage 0 stuff was replaced but it really is the best bang for your buck on a budget.

mrbrightside2009
depending on what other mods id say about 6-10hp per every pound of boost, i usually say about 8. very cheap and good way to get instant hp, just make sure everything is up to par.u could go with the $20 nxs mbc i have and i recommended to cory works great.
