The key fob makes the vertical door lock post go up & down, but the door doesn't open. The chrome inner door handle pulls out like you would expect it and the exterior door handle pulls outward but it has no effect. Obviously the mechanism has failed, my question is how do you get the door panel off to replace it if you can't open the door??? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You will need to get the door panel off or the door open somehow to get a better look. I know this is easier said then done. Good Luck and let us know if you make any progress.
