Agreed, looks like he still has DW Volvo's contact information in his sig as well. I'm sure DW appreciates that.

--Aaron--
i didnt know what happened? First they fell off the face of the earth for a few weeks and came back announcing they had a fire. We all sent our best wishes due to them serving us so well. Then apparently orders weren't being shipped, emails weren't being answered. There were a few members that never got what they paid for but I'm pretty sure Paypal took care of the losses so that everyone got their money back. Anyhow, yeah, in a nutshell there ya go. If you search around you'll find the thread, pretty sure it had Stylin Motors in the title. And DW stopped dealing with the bulk of us due to people not following directions, they were getting massive amounts of phone calls from people wanting some little stupid part and then not following through with the purchase anyway. Justin did post an email from them stating that they cannot fulfill our growing demand for parts any longer due to their lack of resources on site. It's pretty obvious though that instead of emailing or calling once people were taking advantage of it.
AlecW81
Well I finally managed to get all the silicone hoses on the car. It took cutting the lip to a 45degree angle and liberal application of silicone spray. But I was able to get everything on tight and clamped down. The car builds and holds boost much better now. That said, I wouldn't recommend the kit to anyone. I just don't think the extreme measures it takes to get the hoses on is worth the savings. You may decide differently, but I would have much preferred the <1hr installation of samco's vs the ordeal of the FCP kit.
vivalavolvo
After spending a good 30 minutes fighting with my first hose connection i smeared some Vaseline one the inside of the hose and the rest of the connections went without a hitch. The other trick is to put them strait on and not at an angle.
Fishey
I got the FCP ones for my volvo. I have used Samco (Twice) and Stylin (Once) and they all seem very similar in fit and finish (like poop) but I got my FCP black ones on and only had to trim one piece and only spent like 2-3 hours pushing/pulling/heating/aligning/swearing/drinking before I was done. Also with the 15% discount it was very cheap so I am quite pleased with my FCP purchase that was shipped in a very timely manor. -Your Pal Fishey
AlecW81
I had done silicone on my last 2 Talon's, and they were easy. Kits had come with good t-bolt clamps too. This FCP kit is obviously doable, but there's no reason the hoses couldn't have a 2mm greater inner diameter.
