the commissar! Posted March 28, 2011 Report Share Posted March 28, 2011 You don't "need" the o-ring kits for the AT and oil cooler lines for -98 cars. Does it hurt to replace them? No, but unless the existing ones are torn or leaking it's not a necessity. True but he may not know if he needs them till he takes the old ones apart and then... I'd order them up front...if ya use 'em great if not, save them, you will some day. I keep a spare set just in case, but I keep spare all kinds of stuff .
