Ipd
This is effectively for Sconeman and others who have a later CVVT head (RN motor style) and have bypassed or deleted the CVVT control. Like this: I can have some timing tools made for these so that you'll mark a zero point in the center of the tooth in line with the oval adjustment slot, then use this tool to advance/retard as needed. For those interested you're looking at $35 per tool. If we get ten folks committed I'll have some made, otherwise it just doesn't pencil out. Thanks! ozzimark
Would it work for those of us who are keeping the VVT hub and driving the solenoid through non-OEM means? I guess it is kinda redundant, nevermind..
sconeman
Lucky can say for sure since he's designing it but what we discussed would work with the factory hub too, that way everyone can utilize it
Ipd
So this tool would work with the stock CVVT hub as well as hub deletes like Sconeman's pictured above. As for using it with an alternative driving method, agreed... redundant.

My link At this point I'm not seeing enough interest unless the parties above want to split the $350 minimum run price....
