Jack8745
i have my truck (95 t100) insured for extra 20k currently have about 25k worth of parts in it. recently someone cut my wife off and the front end need to be redone. they were going to total it but with the extra insurance i have on it it covered everything some 4000 worth of upgrades. this option is cheap through geico both cars fully insured plus the extra coverage is 103 per month for me
FCP Euro
There is no way that is a total. That is a very easy fix. Probably would not take more then a couple hours doing it yourself on a weekend.
boxpin
I will find out tomorrow. It broke the radiator support and punctured the A/C condenser. Also wiped out the wiper motor. This evening I washed it to look its best. I was running the engine and the headlights were on. The lense cover is busted so the bulb was exposed. I sprayed water on the bulb while it was hot and that thing shot like bullet into the garage. Glad I was not standing in front of it.
shellshock
Don't keep full coverage on the S70 either. Not worth it. Kept full coverage on the Mercedes though.
Scania
DON'T be in a hurry to settle with them, they want to offer you as little as possible & move on to the next person. I've even heard of them telling customer's. "well, we've made you an offer you have 24 hour's to respond" . . . .or what I asked them. Or NOTHING. you can take 2 years to settle if you want. let me know what they tell you & I'll do whatever I can to help. best thing is to do your homework. & get all your record's in order. ALL states have guide lines Insurance companies HAVE to follow to total out a car. Most don't cuz they figure you'll never know. just take your time & you'll come out as best as possible. & I have Yet to hear what states wont let you buy back YOUR OWN CAR. my argument as to having to buy it back is. . . .it Wasn't for sale before the accident what make's you think it is now ? . .& if it's not worth any $ to be able to fix it HOW can it be worth more than 50 bux to buy it back. they will tell you what they pay you is non negotiable. . .that's bullshit. . . .they'll also tell you it's 10-19% to buy it back. . . .also Bullshit ! ! ! ! Good luck ! ! ! ..............Dave

Scania
Doing it yourself & saving a few dollar's ? in the end you will have gotten paid to repair your own vehicle. & if you were to spend All the Ins money on the car I'm sure you could have done some nice upgrades light angel eye's & a FMIC. doesn't alway's have to turn out badly. ............Dave
