the commissar!
Is it possible you mucked up the install of the bracket talked about in this thread...that happens a lot. Also did you use a IM gasket on each side of the spacer? Check all vacuum lines? Check that hose from the vac tree to the IAC valve. They die when they get old... Jack8745
i figured it out. the idle set screw on the 960 tb not adjusted for the 850 tb linkage adjusted it; runs fine now
Q-Ship
how do you like it? */- ? appreciable differences?
Jack8745
i feel a difference so thats a + is it a big difference ? hard to tell, this is my wifes dd and i sometimes drive it. The test will come if she can tell something is improved, if she can tell without me telling her then its a big + i did it because its an easy and a cheap upgrade (got all the parts from a local junk yard) the most fun i had was cleaning up the casting marks on the intake and gasket matching it. now my intake matches my valve cover By jack8745 at 2011-04-04 ps i would do it again; all the little stuff just adds to the car
Q-Ship
totally agree. I've heard a couple of people complain that the bigger TB + manifold messed up their throttle tip in, so I was wondering your (+your wife's!) driving impressions.
