FAST850R
Hello, When I shift the gear to Reverse, my car makes loud noise and car shakes little bit. It also does it when I shift it from N to D, but less noise and movement. Transmission fluid was flushed 1 year ago. Stage 0 was done at the same time. Car has 147k miles. 1996 850R. I notice it more when car was parked on hills. Is this transmission mounts problem? If it is, how hard to replace them? Thank you.

Ihatespeedbumps
Front and rear hydraulic mounts would be more suspect, usually revealing themselves in R with a loud bang.

Are you talking about the transmission mount for the front? The rear mount is the one that really hard to replace, correct?

cn90
Just curious what is the procedure for checking all these engine/trans mounts? - I understand VISUAL inspection needs to be done but sometimes look can be deceving. 2. Any opinion re jacking up the engine a bit to see if the mount is bad? Or jack up the trans a bit?
