boxpin
I finally caved and bought the $79 leather magic repair kit. I sent a sample to them and had them color match the leather. If you have ratty seats like I do I recommend this, for $79 bucks your good as new. Here are my seats before. This is actually when I started working on them, I forgot to take a picture before I started. I have finished one seat so far. Caught it before it actually ripped. About two days of sand, filler, sand, filler, sand paint
Dan A
Geez, amazing results. Be sure to post back on how it wears. I'd like to do my driver's bolster if it wears well.

Dave 54
Looks good but i'll be surprised if it lasts. My DSM had that done to it and within about a year or so it looked worse then it did before.
boxpin
that looks awesome. which kit did you get ? I have no idea if it will last. Time will tell. The finish is a dye not paint so we shall see. Bottom line I was at the edge of the seats tearing and that would have been really bad. I had to do something. Leathermagic.com is where I got the kit. I used most of the stuff in it. The kit will do two seats, it barely covered the second seat. It feels good and is pliable. If you decide to do it be sure to get your leather color matched. Dont buy from the chart, it was way off. When I first recieved the kit I tested the color (which came from their chart and was supposed to match) but it did not. I called them and sent the color back with a piece of leather to match. They matched it and sent the color back...I had to pay shipping both ways...still angry about that. When I was searching at the wrecker for the right color leather I found 4 variations of tan leather...beware.

No idea but your best bet is to get a sample of your leather, maybe from behind your back seat.
Serge
Oh snap. I actually had a leather repair guy look at my front seats and they were about 1/4 as bad as your first photo. He told me he wouldn't even bother repairing it because it won't last for long. Best way to go about it is to get skins from a seat that's still in good shape, then fix the small damage. bergmjs
Can that kit repair small tears in the leather? My driver's seat split right in the middle of the bottom of the back about an inch. Is this it? http://store.leathermagic.com/deluxeleatherrepairkit.aspx
