FAST850R
Hello, My 1996 850R has very mush feeling of brake. I heard that SSS lines will fix the mush problem, but I am not sure. If you guys have any experience with the product, can you share it? Also what brake pads do you recommend? I don't track my car, It's just my DD. Thank you. 95 854 t-5
It certainly firms up the pedal a lot I have them and I noticed a significant difference especially under heavy braking. If you have the funds I say go for it
Snabb T5M
I second them. I'm running the IPD SS lines and it made a difference. I'm also running Hawk HPS pads on 302mm slotted rotors with ATE Blue fluid.
FAST850R
Thank you for the replies guys. I guess I will order the lines. Yeah, I wish I can put bigger brakes too, but it's my DD and I don't have much fund for my car for now. I know the front lines are easy to replace, but how about the real one? I have never replaced brake lines for rear.
FAST850R
Hum...I just found other brand brake lines and they seem little cheaper than IPD ones. Does anyone have any experience with other brands? Thanks.

gilber33
Do the FCP SS lines work on 850s too? I only see them listed in the X70 section. I'm totally assuming they would since the calipers between the two models have the same part numbers, just want to make sure the lines would work. Have all new calipers and front rotors are shitty and old, so going to do 302s right away and figure might as well do SS lines up front.

FAST850R
I can't find SS line in FCP site. I google searched and I found bridgestone, stop tech, etc brands. Some of them are $50 some of them are around $100. I know you get what you pay for, but I wonder SS lines are that much different from one brand to others. FAST850R
I wonder whether I need to change all 4 of them, or just for front one since front brakes do the most job. Thanks.
mune237
question: my three Volvos '95 960, '97 850R, and '00 C70 have hard lines in the rear. What's everyone else got? Are the hoses further up the line?
7 VII 7
I am taking my 850R into the shop this weekend to get the FCP SS Lines installed and the Super Blue fluid put in... I only have 1 tin (whatever FCP sells) of fluid... is this enough or would I need more? Oh and FCP SS Lines Front and Rear - you need 2 fronts and 2 rears. 7 VII 7
So they fit 850s? Did you click my link? It should be the same SS lines that came in the ATE Big Break Kit
