boxpin
A friend text me asking about a failed smog. I am assuming from the message that there is a leak in the evap system somewhere. From what I understand this is the cylinder that is under the drivers front fender and connects to the intake manifold and the fuel tank. Common fail area is right past the fuel filter under the passenger rear wheel. Not saying thats what the problem is or where(havent looked yet).....any other ideas? Zappo
any other ideas? Yeah, is the gas cap on? If it is missing it will cause the same code.
cheapwagon
Have the system smoked. Save your time and money. I would also say reset the light and just retest. That was what I did after throwing parts at where I thought I found leaks. The light always came back on after I left Emissions station.
Gilhuly
+1 This can be figured out super quickly with a smoke machine. Probably a gas cap. Have the system smoked. Save your time and money. I would also say reset the light and just retest. That was what I did after throwing parts at where I thought I found leaks. The light always came back on after I left Emissions station.
