Looks good but I hope that's not the finished product. I see a seam over the headlight? I was planning to do this years ago, but I could never find a used hood to do it and didn't want to use my current one. Congrats, though.

a little bit of filler will fix that, like i said, the body guys job :P only spent 1 1/2 hours on this.

Nice work. How could that only cost you $7? The materials have to be more than that.... :D

More better lit pics would be nice.

thank you :) 7 dollar sheet of metal from home depot, i have all the tools needed. no point posting better pics till the hood is painted, orignally i wasnt even gonna post this until after davis and ipd.

Thanks for all the nice words guys, i am buying a house this summer so i will have my own real garage, so this thing will finally get the stuff done that i have planned, atleast two more things that i have never seen done on an 850, real excited =]

BTW, not to piss in your cheerios, but I thought this was appropriate to post here. Only other 850 I've seen with a boser hood. Took me a long ass time to track this picture down too.

I have to disagree but I love this 850 look. Nothing wrong with looking difference from the normal crowd.

Yea jeremy, the decisiZron to buy a house was very spontanious and mainly because of the rediculous low prices right now, I am working in vancouver right now but live in oregon so living in washington will benefit me also in a shorter commute and no state income tax =)

Make sure the crawl space has plenty of room for wheels and tires.
