Vagabond
I didn't know this was a "thing". I didn't like the eyebrows for the 850's so I thought about welding extentions to the front of the hood. Nice to know it looks badass.
Q-Ship
nice. I like that it is a bit subtle. Much nicer than "eyelids". btw, what is this boser hood everyone mentioned? from whence the name?imho, oc

exexpat
nice. I like that it is a bit subtle. Much nicer than "eyelids". btw, what is this boser hood everyone mentioned? from whence the name? imho, oc It comes from the German "böser Blick" - which means "angry look" Germans started doing this a lot about 15 years ago and it hit the BMW and VW scenes in the US about 10 years ago. Böser blick is the full name, böser in german is mean and blick is look, soooo mean look in german, boser for short. Beat me to it, but your capitalization is off. The "boser" started because we don't use umlauts on English-International keyboards :P

Matchbox22
I don't like boser hoods, the bondo 850 would look better without the fender vent, boser hood, but it have a very sexy look from the rear though.
Account_Deleted_T5M
:( props for doing it, but these cars are volvo's NOT VW's, everybody needs to stop trying to copy what VWs have been doing for years....stretched tires, poke Hellaflush i mean HEllagay... disappointed in how the new VS has turned out
the commissar!
Surprisingly for an old fart like me, I kinda dig the one in post #11 but I think to pull the look off you must have the halo rings on your headlights...I don't think just adding the hood extensions completes the overall look and it is just unfinished... OP, Props for stepping out there and doing something a little different, at least for the Volvo crowd!

And the Opels, BMWs, Audis and Mercedes have equal Boeser Blick hood penetration in Germany, Belgium, Holland, France, Austria and other European countries. Anyone who says "everything we do is copying VW shit" is just naive. To the credit of the layperson, the VW guys did have earlier access to periodical literature from Europe, so they and BMW owners were among the earlier scenes to get inspiration from European tuning. IMO there's not even a need to justify it. Outside of the fact that these are our own cars and we can do whatever the fuck we want to them, I think it's great when someone modifies their Volvo outside the box. Modifying your box outside the box I'm all for anything that takes modding volvos in a new/unusual/uncommon direction. Who cares if it's popular in other car communities.
