rbodor3
Pulled the WG actuator vac line and boost was good. With the actuator on it was only hitting 4-5 psi. I kept adjusting the actuator until the nut was all the way tight - boost onset is really early but still dumps at 5psi. Spikes a bit at the shifts. I'm thinking bad TCV? It's an ipd one. <_<

You may be stuck in limp mode.If boost was okay when you pulled the vac line that means the WG is not the problem.

rbodor3
It was the TCV. Replaced with stock and performance boost is back.
NJGreenBudd
i had the same thing happen with the ipd one after 60,000 miles of use, back to a new stock one and it's great. good to hear you got it fixed though.
rbodor3
yes, I've put about 45k on the IPD one. I will be buying a new IPD one, because the response time is so much faster. The response time for the stocker is too slow and boost is much more erratic; which makes me nervous. :monkey:
