FCP Euro Posted May 21, 2011 Report Share Posted May 21, 2011 The S60 is basically an evolved version of the 850. The engines are very similar except that the S60 has a bigger turbo and electronic throttle body. There are a few other differences like no distributor on the S60 because it uses coil packs but other then that, they are very similar. Anyway, if you know your way around the 850, you will not have an issue with the S60. They are great cars and just as reliable if taken care of. Keaton85 Posted May 21, 2011 Report Share Posted May 21, 2011 The S60 T5M has a 16T, so not much bigger then a 15G that the 850 has. Same as a 5spd turbo 850 or a 98-00 T5M although just a nicer ride in my opinion. Only major issues are the ETMs but not a deal breaker by any means as the S60 T5M is a great car.
