jschaefer7406
Hello all, Noticed tonight on the trip home from Carlisle that my S70 seemed a little more sluggish than when first tuned. Seemed to wind up a little slower and the boost, while still the same on the gauge, seemed to have less effect than before ... For a little background, I have a 2000 S70 AWD. WothRline map (1 bar), 15G (6cm angled housing; 216/60 actuator set to 4.5 psi), blues, R manifold. K&N panel filter, Snabb 2.75" fresh air pipe, IPD TCV, stock R dual exhaust. Have always been VERY happy with the Woth tune, but tonight she seemed a little sluggish on the way home. Thing I'm wondering is this. I replaced the alternator, alt-to-starter cable, and starter-to-battery cable a month or two ago. Is it possible that I have the new cables routed too closely to the nearby knock sensor wiring and therefore causing timing pull? Not 100% sure what timing pull feels like, but the timing is the only thing that makes sense to me. The boost is still there, just doesn't have the rush that it usually does... Recent fuel filter, plugs are stock Volvo gapped to .028" (approx 20k miles old), other tune up stuff up-to-date. No DTCs set or other symptoms. Thoughts? Thanks, Joe

The next thing I would look for is a leak if this is on going.
