ok.... im sorry for being alittle edgy.. i was just frustrated and felt like i was being belittled

but, you honestly came back with the most respectable thing you could have possibly said... and now i feel like a dick for not talking to you more... im sorry.

but really congrats.. you made impressive numbers.. i wish i could have dynoed with the highrollers this year... but accidents happen... im sure ill talk to you soon and im sorry for saying unkind things toward you. not many guys modifyed these cars to the extent we have, and ive been personaly frustrated by the lack of tune-ability

Its cool man, I try to be cool with everybody.....after all we all have just about the same interests....Volvo's and modding them lol

Thanks, it certainly has been a painstaking task to come this far over the years and Im right there with you in the frustration category.

respect for seeming to be a standup guy thats just keeping your loyalty to your friend even with all of us calling you out about it haha i hope you guys can work all the quirks out(soon haha), it seems quite impressive already so keep up the good work!

Yeah, I have to respect his wishes....after all if it was not for him I wouldnt be where Im at with it. I hope he can finish up soon.

So I was pretty close on the boost.

I bought my pistons/rods from Terry back in 03/04. Being one of his first customers, I was able to get them within 6-8 weeks. I had my motor built locally and like you, had a few problems that have taken a while to resolve. Like you say, there weren't many options at the time and I too was fairly ignorant on what was involved in building a motor. Hindsight is 20/20 for sure. I went standalone because I wanted full control over what the motor was doing and there were very few options. It's been a steep learing curve but i'm fairly happy with how it's running so far considering i've never tuned a car in my life.

Looking forward to hearing more about your setup.

Yeah you were.

20/20 for sure....I see you have a 35r...with that standalone that should be a good set up....any numbers? I didnt read your whole thread yet.

Well said. Very nice to see people conducting themselves in a mature manner.

That being said, your wagon--and whole collection, for that matter--is gorgeous, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd love to see a dedicated show room thread on anything you're willing to share at this point in the build smile.gif

Thanks. I've documented a fair amount of it, but not as well as others I see on here. I need to sort through some of my old photos and put it together.

333whp/350wtq @ 17psi on a not so great tune. i'm running 20psi right now and will be turning it up once I get rid of the dualmass flywheel and get the Quaife in there. Just need to decide on a clutch before I tear into it. I'll be happy with 400whp which I hope to see at 24psi.

Nice!

I run the gripper LSD with my trans and it seems to work really well....im just hoping that my clutch will hold up if I can get upwards of 400whp.
