I Need You Guy's Suggestions...

if you are sure you the flywheel is hitting the block I would think you are f-ed Has the tranny been out recently that someone would have forgetten to put in or tighten all the bolts (very unlikely) So even if the crank or the flywheel are severily messed up, I would think you have an underlying problem causing it. If you can not do the work yourself I think the repair cost (even of changing the motors) could EASYILY cost more than the value of the car being a 1994 and depending on miles. I say get out of it what you can, and put it toward a low miles 96-97 R wagon or a 98 V70 T-5 5spd or a V70R or any other nice volvo or if you want totally out of volvo anything else for that matter. But you could send all this on a car worth only like 3-4K and have more problems down the road.

Yeah, the tranny has come out so someone could've not put bolts back on tight enough, the guy is acting shady anyways and I've lost all trust in him, but that's besides the point. I'm getting the car back from the current shop it's at and from there my father and I will probably spend a looooooooooong amount of time working on the car slowly getting it back to normal, unless a fellow Volvospeeder wants to help with the process and it can be a project for us to get the car back on it's feet (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE) :)

That's the most likely path, but selling the car part by part still hasn't flown out of the air, I will keep you guys updated...

Aight guys, it's final :) , we're going to keep the car and work on it over time...Thanks for the suggestions, plan is to have it ready at the very latest by the time I go to college so my dad can keep the TL-S we're most likely getting <_< . It should really only take like a month and a half, but I will deffinitely keep you guys updated.

Also I will be needing a new flexplate...Flyby or somebody, could you shed some light on the crankshaft? Is that a part I can just go out and buy, and is it hard to replace? I guess I won't know if it needs fixing or not until the car is taken apart...It would REALLY help to have a good place to work on the car, but it'll be in my dirty back yard on some makeshift lifts  haha
