drove the car all morning no issues whatsoever. park it at noon go outside to leave at 2. I turn the key, i get a quick bump from the starter (didn't even turn the engine over) and that was it... turn the key again starter wont even budge... all the lights are on like they should be, plenty of power jumped it to another car made no difference... I removed the starter and had it tested and it checked out okay. ran out of time to work on it and thats where im at right now Checked the fuse it was good and now im stumped thinking about it, i will be tearing into it tommarow to see further. anyone have any input? im hoping the motor still turns over tommarow then i try it :(

check the starter motor relay. its deffinatly an electrical issue. i would start ther thow

also see if somthing might be grounding out not giving the starter good amps to turn.

alright ill give that a shot.

Did you try whacking the starter a few times to see if it was hung?

yeah i did took it out and it spun fine

Tom my saff has done this on numerous occasions. Turn the key, and I would get a click from the starter. I'd turn the key again then nothing at all. I drove the 850 for the rest of the day came back and the saff started right up. Also happened to me leaving work one day. I turned the key and absolutely nothing. I hit the stater a few times and it turned over. I would say make sure all the grounds And terminals are nice and clean

Honestly it happens to me every so often. Steph thought she broke it one day when it happened to her. I blamed it all in her LOL

"B" battery cable?

This...

Like I said on Facebook Tommyboy...these cables are notorious for going south. Swap it out and you should be good from here on out.
