Round 2 of questions - Kevin works until noon and is curious what will be happening and if he will still be able to make it leaving Sayre, PA at noonish. I know last year we went for a spirited drive to "T" something park but didn't recall a time That would be Treman park.. Rt 327...i used to terrorize that road for years.. Hit the lovely connector ramp for the 2 Elmira exists and baaaaaaaa PA PA APA PAA PAA misfire cylinder 1. Cleared the codes and was driving along at like 4k again ba ba bapapoapsofpaopoapof. So I replaced the cap & rotor because the plugs were 1 week old the wires checked out legit and the rotor was spanked (only 3 years old)and the cap had some build up. being in a rush to get home and back and the lack of paying attention in the dark with a flash light tonight I managed to loop cylinder 5 wire under the Crank position sensor. So I was like aight we good to go... until that was I put load on the car and ba ba ba stallsy almost. So I was heated and long story short I routed the Crank Position sensor under the heater hose so that the extra wire wouldnt loop upward then I rotated all cap/rotor leads of the spark plug wires to about 2-3 oclock. Started her up, hopped on the owego exit WOT and boom straight to 125 glorious. Just to double check I pulled a U'y at lounsbery and hit that on ramp too... Good to go. Won't boost, gauge says peak is 6 psi, but that just means it is not boosting really. New Bosch MAF in February, complete tune-up/service last month- no boost since. Checked all the pipes, no evidence of leaks, IPD TCV is hooked up right...car runs fine, just its not a turbo. So spirited drive will be a slow one- I am counting on your guys to figure it out. I had the exact same thing and one of the bellows of the intercooler had a crack in it. no-low boost would allow the crack to remain closed causing no issues.
