I feel that way about autocrossing. I used to do it in my modified 65 Corvair every summer and it was a BLAST. Someday when I have one again I'll likely do it again. I wouldn't mind having an older Volvo to autocross either.

the car has a 16t with white injectors and a decat , and a mbc set at 15 psi , for some reason the car will not rev past 5.5 rpm either , with a better reaction time a think she could make 14.1 or 14 flat

What was the 60' time? Or, if you are on the other side of the pond, the equivalent number in bloke terms? :lol:

Yes, I would think a 14 flat is certainly do-able. Not sure of your fuel, elevation, stuff like that - it all comes into play.

yeah , think we have better fuel over hear , 97octane a think .

heres the time sheet

reaction time =.8460

60ft = 2.4681

1/8et = 9.5019

1/8mph = 79.3800

1/4 et = 14.3800

1/4 mph = 100.66

cheers

Did you dyno it? Curious where you got the 278hp.

Well, dynos don't tell you crank HP anyway - though, with a 16T, 3" full exhaust, 97 octane and a manual...I could see it getting in the ballpark of 278-ish crank HP (probably somewhere around 240 @ wheels).
