jschaefer7406
Hello all, Installed a different boost gauge in the S70 this morning after work. Now you'd think I'd know better than to try to do ANYTHING when tired after a 12 hour night shift, but I guess not . Anyway, quick question. When installing the adapter for the gauge fitting, I didn't hold the gauge threads like I normally do. Not paying attention, I held the gauge body and tightened the adapter (16mm wrench, so I had a bit of leverage; not crazy torque or anything though). Seems to work fine, no abnormal noises or readings (still reads 0 when disconnected). Anything to worry about? Noticed (when slightly rocking the tube with a smaller wrench after I realized my mistake), that there is only a hair of movement back and forth and the face and needle rock together. Make sense? Sorry for the dumb question, just worried Joe
Che'_Moderator
They will spin in the sleeve. Should be no damage as they are all internally housed.
